one of the greatest second sets in GD history. the band was so "on", its almost too good to be true (like listening to europe 72 but for 1979)...

Alternatively, shark man, you might have used:

[sorry if that's not what you meant! my screen is so small I can't tell what your emoticon is "doing"]

No Archer Tell, thats too harsh!

However, I'm sure you would agree that comparing the fine show on 10/27/79 to even one of the less spectacular performances from Europe in 1972 is laughable...

My bad--this screen makes your emoticon look like he's giving the finger up his nose...

This is what we have come to? Misinterpreting emoticons? Lets see, emoticons were meant to help express the emotion of the written words and now there are so many little yellow faces that we can't even tell what emotions they are meant to display? Maybe we should write a small descriptor next to the emoticon so that people understand what emotion the original words were meant to express.

(btw if you I believe your little FU emoticon would be an appropriate response to this post)

Ha--more irony! Just what Dire and I need...see above.

And yep, I have my large screen back, and see that strangely enough, CLIFF's emoti does have some text next to it...must be copyright drivel.

I think this was my first show - I remember the drive to the Cape and I remember the sandy assed parking lot but I don't really recall the show or the drive home.

Hard to believe it was 30 years ago and I was 16.

Now my oldest daughter is 16 and there is no way I'd let her take off to see a show up in the Cape with a bunch of her friends.

Fun times.
